Record four different measurements
Standing height helps to compare scale. Body weight, assembled weight and packed weight answer different handling questions. Record each one as stated, together with the included head and accessories. Request the outside carton dimensions if you need to plan for a narrow doorway, an elevator or a pickup location.
Measure the space along the entire route
Begin where the carrier hands over the parcel and work backward from the intended storage area. Consider stairs, corners and turning clearance as well as the width of each door. Compare the seller's suggested lifting or unpacking procedure with the help and space you can actually arrange. Photographs of a completed setup rarely show these steps.
Check how the maker supports the body
Ask which resting or storage positions are approved for the exact model. Confirm whether a support bracket, stand, padding or other equipment is required and whether it is included. For removable heads, ask about support and packaging for each component. Keep a copy of the manufacturer instructions with the order record.
Treat a lighter version as a different configuration
Two catalogue titles can share a height while referring to a body with different internal construction or proportions. Verify the model revision and the units used before comparing weights. Where a measurement is missing, put it on a written question list. The examples below provide catalogue heights for comparison and leave handling and package weights to the seller to confirm.
